A relatively newcomer it hasn’t taken Ben 10 long to become firmly established and popular in the world of kids TV.
Our character Ben Tennyson – Ben 10 – discovers a mysterious watch like device (the Omnitrix) which gives him the power to change into 10 different alien heroes each with unique powers. Ben’s a typical 10 year old who likes riding his bike, playing video games and who occasionally gets into trouble. Being a superhero can be a bit awkward at times and Ben can take on some strange alien forms but he’s still the same mischievous 10 year old boy inside.
Ben’s cousin Gwen is a steadying influence on him – thinking ahead and of the consequences of Ben’s actions. They quarrel a lot and she’s always trying to help Ben work out how the Omnitrix works.
Grandpa Max helps Ben in any way he can. He was in a secret organisation called The Plumbers who protected the earth from alien invaders. He and Ben go on their regular summer road trip a soon as school is finished for summer.
With extensive TV coverage, loads of exciting stories and games coupled with a fabulous website Ben 10 looks like being around for a long time.
